| Remarks | my friend saw it too, we were both driving on Rt. 1 in separate cars about 100 feet apart. He thought he saw a contrail but wasn't sure. The closed car windows may have contributed to not hearing anything. The meteor looked brighter than a highway halogen light is above the highway, and relatively as large in the sky, and the sky was still pretty light out. |

| Terminal flash | |
|---|---|
| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | the terminal flash was the third one. it looked like it almost stopped moving, about 2 degrees long, with the 3/4 facing the earth an extremely intense kelly green that was wider and brighter towards the top, and the top a deep orange. Then it went out completely. |
| Fragmentation | |
|---|---|
| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | it flashed 3 times, the first time i didn't catch it clearly, it traveled west about 20 degrees and south about 10, and appeared to go out completely. then it lit up again, second was a bit slow, yellow and green, went west about 10 degrees, down about 15 degrees, and went out again. The third, final time it went almost straight down, west less than 5 degrees and down about 10 degrees. |
