Remarks My wife and I were stopped facing SE on Second Line Road awaiting the traffic light to turn green so we could make a left turn onto March and head into Ottawa. Suddenly the large bright object streamed SE above us at a lower speed than a shooting star and long enough for us to watch it traverse the dark sky with a "spark-like" event occuring as it moved, which we assume was a piece breaking off. Amazing sight...I joked with my wife that if it hits nearby we may not make it into Town but said it likely is several hundred miles away
