Remarks I was in the car with the radio on so I wouldn't have heard any sounds related to this, if there had been any. It was cloudy and I just happened to be lucky enough to see this in a break in the clouds. There was a lot of light reflecting from the clouds as well and I suspect this fireball would have looked brighter against a dark cloudless sky.
