Reports Report 86a (Event 86-2013)

Observer
Name Robyn R
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I saw it through a north-facing high living room window while I was seated facing north-east. It seemed to drop at a slight angle, and didn't 'shoot'. I saw the glow before I saw the fireball and I feel as though I saw the glow for at least two seconds before I looked up. I was able to see the fireball, watch for at least two seconds, jump up, go to window and still see the fragmentation, etc. I'm guessing I watched it for about six or seven seconds. Time was approximately 8:33-8:34pm, although I could be a couple minutes off.

Persistent train
Observation Yes
Duration 3s
Length
Remarks Noticed bright white 'train' through window before fireball appeared. 'Train' was ever present before/after fireball; Fireball seemed to fall along the train of white 'glow'.
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks The fireball did not look like a ball--it looked 'chunky', oddly shaped, and didn't 'shoot'. It seemed to drop/fall. There was an obvious orange burst/explosion before two smaller balls split from the larger piece.
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks Two smaller glowing white/dark-centered balls broke off from larger piece before everything disappeared.
