Reports Report 1896a (Event 1896-2012)

Observer
Name William K
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I was driving on the PA Turnpike at the time. There was no traffic behind me. The object was bright enough that it startled me somewhat. I first saw it when it was low enough to see through my windshield and I watched it until it disappeared behind the new bridge that was built at mile marker 320. While there was not a persistent tail, it did appear to have a very short tail, almost like an elongated raindrop in shape. On the side of doubt is the fact that I was quite fatigued; I was driving home after a very long workday. So was it real or was I seeing things.
