Remarks All I can tell you is that, I\'ve been star gazing for two years now, and I\'ve seen my share of shooting stars, meteors, but I have never, never ever seen, much less felt something so huge with such strength in sound, that my body even felt as it came across the sky.

Concurrent Sound

Remarks -
Delayed Sound
Observation Yes
Remarks The sound was strong enough to feel it through the ski mask I had on, and the head beeni that goes wend lower to cover my ears... I could not believe I could hear the sound this asteroid made... Sounded like the sonic planes that have come over my house, but much, much stronger... so strong I felt the strength of the sound on my body.
Persistent train
Observation Yes
Duration 3s
Length -1°
Remarks This meteor lit up the from the direction I witnessed it at approximately 6:24am. Our house faces north and I was in the back of the yard facing east, west in the direction of the Orion Constellation... It was not only huge in length, but huge in width... this had to be an asteroid... I was wearing a ski mask and a head warmer covering my ears and I could hear and feel the sound it made when it happened. It did not have a wide tail like in the image on this questionnaire... it was straight like a very, very wide pencil... If this thing had hit the earth it would of been the end.
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks The flash was like someone having an enormous flash light from space, with the strength of of brightness as the sun.
Fragmentation
Observation No
