Remarks | I saw a tumbling, almost flashing, distinct ball of white light falling to my left as we were headed north bound on Hwy 51 near Halls, TN. The ball had a tail that seemed to glow or sparkle as it faded. The entire event last less than 3 seconds, and appeared to be close and fell behind a tree line on the highway. I have since read that depending on your location an object can seem close, but be far away. I would describe the size in relation to a street light globe. It seemed to be about that size as it fell. |

Remarks | The main ball of light seemed to flash or almost tumble as it fell. We were coming up a hill so I did not see it end. It appeared to disappear over the tree line. |
