Just prior to disappearance the meteor burst into a brilliant bright green ball of light which exposed a dust tail all the way up to the radiant where I first saw it.

There was sort of a slight sputtering-static-like sound overhead and about the time of hearing this my eyes also caught the sight of the falling meteor.
