Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks there was a flash that lit up the ground made me turn around to see the trail and fragmentation
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks There was a bright flash which alerted me to the comet. The comet broke into 3-4 pieces. which spread to "about half a pinky at arms length". A larger part was to the bottom and rear of the group (from my vantage) and there were two or three smaller separate fragments ahead of and above the larger piece. there was a glowing trail of straight orange lines behind the lead fragments that quickly dissipated as the lead fragments faded.
