Remarks | 7:00 p.m. Mountain Time was the approximate time. The strangest thing is there was cloud cover at the time. That makes me question my having seen \"sparks\" coming off of it, but I distinctly remember that part. Maybe my eyes were playing tricks. I was shocked by the brightness, but I immediately interpreted it as a \"falling star,\" albeit a huge one. A few minutes later, considering the cloud cover, I began to wonder if there could be amateur rockets that could look like that, fly large distances under the clouds, and make no sound. I also considered that maybe it was much higher and I saw it through the clouds. It was moving very fast and disappeared behind the trees. |
