Remarks | I\'m excited to find that this site is here. The fireball occurred while I was out searching for a dark place to view the Aurora Borealis. Subsequently I stopped and shot pictures of the Aurora at that location and did actually see the Aurora with the naked eye for about 20 minutes during shooting. I don\'t know if there\'s any correlation, but the fireball is the reason I stopped. Thanks! |

Remarks | The fireball started very bright, and fragmented in about a half second into 3 or perhaps 4 pieces which were more luminous than the initial fireball, each with the same color as the original fireball, a bright, bright blue. Diminished in about 1 second but during the breakup expanded to perhaps 1.5 or 2 degrees in diameter. |
