Remarks | I was walking through the parking lot to my motorcycle when I saw the fire ball appear directly in front of me. It is a large parking at a nuclear power facility with a lot of cleared land for transmission lines; so the horizon is very low. It streaked almost straight down to the horizon, and had a relatively short tail. About halfway through its trajectory it mad a lazy \"S\" (not a perfectly straight line) before it faded out. It was very bright, but about half the diameter of a full moon. |
