It was glowing very intensely with almost a white center and a pulsating red glow around the object itself. It seemed to me that it would be burning very hot. It was circular in shape/did not appear to be rotating as it passed overhead. The object appeared to be within a few thousand feet to the ground using trees as perspective. I did have to turn my body to view it as it passed nearly overhead.

Remarks
The train was quite faded and transparent red. It maintained a consistent intensity and length as I watched it go overhead.
