Our impression was that a star just shot across the sky and then fell. It was a trail of light. Would love to know if anyone else saw it. Thanks.

Remarks
We thought we saw a shooting star. It was the first time we\'d seen a star just fall from the sky. Then when we googled this morning to see if others saw it we found this website. It travelled across the sky in a slightly upward arc and then just dropped from the sky. The tail just curved across the sky leaving a trail and then plunging from the sky.
