Remarks | It was awesome. Reminded me of the opening scenes from Night of the Creeps or the adaptation of Stephen King\'s The Tommyknockers. |

Persistent train | |

Observation | Yes |
Duration | 5s |
Length | 6° |
Remarks | The train of the comet was a bright green, though less so than the comet itself. Blended in with that green was a bright yellow, approximate to sunlight, without suffusing the whole sky, being limited to only the comet\'s tail. The tail wasn\'t smoky as much as it glowed brightly before fading into the night sky as quickly as it appeared and moved across the upper horizon. |
Terminal flash | |

Observation | Unknown |
Remarks | There wasn\'t much of a terminal flash, to the best of my recollection. But I do recall witnessing the visual spectacle of what looked like sparks falling off from it as it moved through the sky; sort of like watching a real large firework without the panoply display. |
