Remarks | The fireball was flat on the forward surface leaving a trail of golden colored sparks. The white portion seemed to grow as it approached the ground. At first I thought it was an Iridium Flare, starting with a dim glow and progressing into a very bright white color leaving a trail of golden sparks. It came in from the north traveling eastward on its decent. It appeared for 2 to 3 seconds before passing behind the hilly mountain terrain. It is hard to judge distance with such a quick event, however I am sure this impacted somewhere in the Cache Valley towards Idaho along the rural back country of Newton, Clarkston, and Weston areas. |
