Remarks | Spotted the meteor North and slightly East of my position. Was traveling northbound on a road that points nearly exactly North/South. The meteor is very low in the sky, already almost to the horizon resulting in short duration of visual. Size was very large and color was very bright. Meteor was falling at about a 40% angle moving from East to West. Size, color and location above the horizon suggested the meteor struck the earth when it disappeared on the horizon. |
