Remarks | The object appeared on the eastern horizon, quite low. At the instant my eyes saw it it was an irregular round glow about 1/4 the size of the recent full moon . The biggest shooting star I have seen. We were indoors and have three large windows on the east wall, it traveled across all three and my husband and I ran to the next room to look and it had disappeared in the sky. It was still traveling huge and bright when it left our vision and was gone by the time we reached the next group of north/east windows. |
