I had the good fortune to see this fireball from start to finish and it lasted long enough for me to get friends\' attentions and all of them saw quite a bit of its path too.

Very bright yellow ball and bright yellow double trailing tail that lasted a long time....faded out a bit, and the a smaller fragment of it seemed to light up again less brightly until it burned out completely. burned out before falling below treeline.
