Reports Report 1224af (Event 1224-2012)

Observer
Name Alan
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I was driving my car when I saw it. Looked like a blue ball going across the sky. There were some light hazy clouds between me and the meteor. The meteor looked like it went out for a split second and then re-appeared a little further down. It may have passed behind a cloud. Meteor appeared to go from south-east direction to north-west direction. More of a east to west direction than a south to north direction. It was one of the largest and brightest meteors I have seen in my 50 years although the light clouds could have made it look larger than it really was.
