Remarks | One odd thing is that the rumbling sounded like it traveled from west to east. Knowing that this event happened nearly overhead from the east was puzzling. Maybe the sound was debris falling and the slope caused the eastern fragments to fall later? |

Remarks | Standing outside when I heard a loud \"boom\" that sounded like a sonic boom. Several seconds later heard a rumbling, not like thunder, more like a raspy rocket engine that lasted for 20-30 seconds. Looked skyward for contrail but have tall redwood trees to north, saw nothing. |
