Observation No
Remarks I had some cartoons on the tv and did not hear anything.
Persistent train
Observation Yes
Duration 1s
Length 20°
Remarks The train was a streak trailing the main fireball the same width as the ball immediately behind the ball and tapering to a fine point where it dissapeared. The length of the train remained consistent from the entire time the event was visible. The fireball was striking white and the train mostly white with yellowish edges and tail. The fireball seemed close enough that I thought it may have hit the ground within 30 miles of Chico, CA. I waited for local news reports to this effect.
Terminal flash
Observation No
Remarks I didn\'t see any fragmentation. The fireball view went behind a house horizon directly across the street.
