Remarks I heard a booming sound and looked up. I saw a bright green light that seemed to be falling fairly slow and thought it was an emergency flare at first. There was a smoke trail and then it dissapeared. 2 days later someone coming down the trail said they had heard on the news that it was a meteor. I am reporting this sighting based on that news.
