Remarks | Could sleep so went to look at night sky. I was just about to go in when a flash appeared to light up back of the house and turned around to see this large train across the sky. Although not an expert, I was viewing the nebula in Orion through my bino’s so can confirm the meteorite would have been to the left of Orion and above Sirius. As I said, this appeared to light up the garden as my back was turned and the flash was bright enough to alert me - probably the brightest meteorite I can remember! Please contact me should you require any more info. |
