Remarks | I was in a dark parking lot between 7:43-7:53pm EDT. The light was far thicker than I've seen during anything similar (meteor showers, etc.), and brighter than the street lamps and the nearly-full moon. It was mostly yellow, with a greenish tint near the front. It appeared to be headed west, and dimmed out completely within a second or two. It was witnessed by another person, who was as surprised as I was—I thought it was a helicopter or something like that at first, until I realized it was far too large and bright. No trail was left behind after visibility ceased. |
