Remarks | According to late night witness reports on the Radio in Quebec City, Canada; a huge flash of light was reported in the sky between 22:15 and 22:20 on the 28th of February 2012. Witnesses reported seeing the bright white flash in the sky. Many who saw the light near the City of Quebec believed the lights were military flares that were being used for training exercises. This idea was quickly put aside when multiple witnesses phoned in to report having seen the same flash but hundreds of kilometres away from the provincial capital. A considerable amount of reports, from as far as the Eastern Townships (Sherbrooke, QC) and Rimouski, QC flowed in after the first reported sighting was broadcasted on CHOI Radio X 98,1 in Quebec City. Audio archives of the French radio propgram, more precisely at 23:35, can be found here: http://rms.radiox.com/player/radiox3/default.aspx?extraitid=95674&spc=CHOI. |
