Observer
Name Kenneth L J
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I have never seen a smoke trail from a meteor until 9-9-2018. The meteor may have lasted about 3 seconds and was very bright at the end and that's when I noticed the smoke trail! To clarify my observation position, I live 20 miles due west of downtown Chicago. I observed the Meteor east/northeast moving northeast to southwest at about 50* (degrees) (90* being straight up?).
