Reports Report 3311y (Event 3311-2018)

Observer
Name Ben R
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks Unexpected so surprised by it, very low/close to horizon (not parallel but trajectory was very low) but much brighter than the freeway exchange's nighttime fastfood/hotel signs, went below visible (hilly) horizon so couldn't see termination, looked like a crashing/flaming UFO before I came to my senses and tried to memorize what I was seeing (lol!). Brightest/largest fireball I've ever seen! A neighbor who was walking her dogs also saw it independently of myself. Major eye catcher.
