Reports Report 2058d (Event 2058-2018)

Observer
Name Martin H
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks In fact, I first thought it might have been a satellite breakup - it looked a lot like the videos I have seen from the MIR reentry - only that it was orange. Because satellites are usually not large enough to show this effect, I deduce it must have been a natural celestial object. Disclaimer: This is the first time I have seen something like that.

Fragmentation

Remarks When I first saw the object, it has already fragmented in 6-8 smaller objects, though they all were very close together. There was a trail, but that one did not last very long.
