I'm over 60 years old and a former DoD Test Pilot (Engineer) with 14 years at China Lake and Edwards. This is the best single meteor I've personally seen in my life. One other big one but not as beautiful as this one was.

Remarks
The fireball began as a large single bright light blue fireball from behind the high cloud layer. As it descended it past below the highest cloud layer and broke up into 4 brilliant bright green fireballs, like a fluorescent green string of pearls which vanished at about 30 degrees above the northern horizon.
