Remarks I just happened to be out front of my house and caught site of this fireball. It was actually a second one I caught sight of in less than 2 minutes. The first was just a glimpse and very faint. As I repositioned myself to watch the area the one I am reporting here occured. I.m sure it was much brighter than I observed as I was standing with my back to a street lamp approximately 30 feet behind me. From my vantage point it appeared about 30 degrees west / northwest of Orion.
