I was driving at the time and was merging with traffic having just gotten on I-35. There was a semi just in front of me and I noticed the fireball above and to the right slightly of the van type trailer. Mind you it was 3:30 in the afternoon on a sunny day so I was surprised to see something this bright moving very fast. At first I thought it might be space junk from the China space station but the angle of decent was too steep for that and duration wasn't long enough. My passenger was looking else where and I said look at the meteor but by that time it was finished.
