Remarks | When i first saw the fireball, i thought it was the crescent moon but then remembered the moon is not in that phase. Appeared to have two tails. It was visible through the branches of a cottonwood tree. I stared for a few seconds trying to wrap my head around what I was seeing and ran in to grab my phone. Took about ten seconds to return with phone, it had moved to the east by about 5 degrees. Still obscured by the cottonwood i ran through the house to the east side and at that point tried to get video but camera was unable to pick up anything. The glowing trail was visible for over a minute. Seemed to almost slowly expand as the glow went away. |
