I only had the width of my 18" skylight to see the meteor unfortunately. I was 10 feet from the skylight so my field of view was small. But it was traveling so fast I knew immediately what it was! And I was subsequently excited. Only the next day on Facebook did I hear about the event. I admit I only had a rough idea of the timing, but the posts stating 9:24pm fit exactly in my viewing window...no pun intended.
