Terminal flash
Observation Unknown
Remarks It disappeared below the tree line so I did not see whether there was a terminal flash. My initial feeling as I watched it is that it was fragmenting as it was falling - though I am no expert. I was driving at the time and only saw it after it had passed low enough to come into view, so I only saw it for 0.5 to 1 second. It appeared to be getting slightly wider (horizontally) and seemed to change shape gradually as it came down but it stayed all together visually. I didn\'t see any pieces broken off. Also, it was wider horizontally than it was vertically - about 3/4 to 1 full moon wide and 1/4 to 1/3 full moon high.
