It arose to my right out of the woods as we drove along the highway with it to my right (?east) as a huge glowing ball and arched up and then diminished to a glowing stream to going to the ground. It happened very quickly and I was dumbstruck as I'd never seen one before and my husband was intent on driving and did not see it. I was amazed to see in the newspaper that others had seen it.
