Reports Report 5450es (Event 5450-2017)

Observer
Name Elizabeth G
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks As I mentioned previously, the ground shook when the fireball appeared to make impact, which I believe may have been in the Bridgton, Maine or perhaps Sebago Lake area. I spoke with several people between Windham, Raymond, Casco, Naples and Bridgton, and all people I asked verified feeling a shake in the ground at exactly the time I saw the fireball. This was unlike anything I've ever seen before. If you were to hold a quarter in your fingers and hold it up towards the sky, the fireball was about the size of a quarter (in relevant size comparison for visual purposes), which to me would indicate that it was of a huge size in realistic measures. The brightness of the fireball was virtually blinding. It was bright white and left my vision with a 'spot' - like you get when someone uses flash photography. It was incredibly fast (obviously), no tail that I could see, but I would bet dollars to donuts it made impact somewhere!

Remarks There was a "boom" when it left my field of vision, which at that time appeared to be heading towards impact. In case there's no question as to any feeling, there whole ground shook, which I verified by asking my entire store full of customers if they also felt any vibration, and they all said yes. My store had about 20+ customers at the time, and they all verified they felt a sudden tremor.
