i dont know the exact time. the sun was setting in the west. maybe already set, but still twilight. it was bright green. and appearred to be heading down at a sharp angle i would think a lot of people in southern ca would have seen it looking to the south- light hazy cloud cover from my viewing position. i was looking at a bird in a tree when i saw it
