Remarks | The time recorded isn't exact.. 7:55PM EST give or take 5 minutes. We were driving west when we saw what seemed to us to resemble a shooting star, except it was much brighter and appeared larger (or closer) than a 'normal' shooting star/meteor (one you might see occasionally see overhead on a dark night). It didn't have a tail, it looked like a bright light. Some stars were visible in the sky, and this was definitely brighter than those. It moved very quickly and was visible for about 1 second. |
