Terminal flash | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | Just before the fireball disappeared, it split into two approximately same sized beads, one behind the other. There may have been a small fragment between them. It was a fraction of a second between the split and disappearance. Just before the split, there was a red fringe above and below the white to faint yellow main streak. |
Fragmentation | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | As stated above, just before it went out, the head of the meteor split into two roughly same-sized beads, one trailing the other by about two bead diameters. A smaller fragment was briefly between the beads, then they all disappeared. |
