Remarks | I was 2200 metres up on the mountainside so the angles may have been distorted, it was at eye level to me. I am a nightscape photogapher that focuses on landscapes at night, hence the landscape is so well exposed. I was there to shoot Ursa Major seen above this meteor, and the camera was on an 8 second exposure with 35mm lens toward the end of Nautical twilight so got a nice pink glow from the last of the afterglow too, so really lucky to have caught this!!! I have iPhone shots of the back of my camera, and original RAW files showing the fireball. |
