Remarks | I was just driving home from church in Picayune, MS. As I passed the Nicholson on ramp, I looked up and saw a fire ball heading to earth. It was falling at a high rate of speed on a steep angle. My estimate is that the fire ball landed about 5-20 miles west of I59 somewhere along the Louisiana and Mississippi border. I don't know if there is any population in that direction, hopefully only swamp. Did anyone else see this? I reported it to both the Mississippi and Louisiana 911 operators. I was wondering if it could be part of the debris from the falling satellite. Please let me know if it might have been. |
