Remarks Traveling Norh bound on highway 395 @ 4:30am thrugh central eastern CT. retuning home from MoheganSun casion back to home town of Brookfield,Ma. First noticed movement and light from drivers side window..thought it was a reflection of headlights from other cars..which were very few this time in the morning..and being a Sunday morning. Both my girlfriend and I noticed it at the same time bu i noticed it when it came into view in front of my line of sight from the top lefthand side of my windshield...we both watched as the metoite trailed then broke up once, trailed again and broke up again...it trailed off behind trees on the right side of highway...just aproaching turn to the right in road...could not follow fast enough to catch final location of metorite.

Remarks Girlfriend and I were traveling on Highway and couldnt hear any distinguishing sounds from metorite.

Remarks Long thin and bright white,metorite was breaking up during entry..broke apart twice..train was long and durations was about 3 to 4 seconds..possably longer.

Remarks First breakup was main body of metorite into 2 parts with smaller parts from those pieces. Second breakup was from the larger of the first breakup..this seemed to be the main body of the metorite. the breakups were yellow and bright orange..lost sight behind tress.
