The sky was covered in patching cloud. I was walking my dog up the hill, going out of the village when i turned back round to see where my dog was. He was not infront of me but following behind. I turned round and saw a bright light with a trail that went over my house at a slight diagonal. It is v. Clear sky where i stay and have been fortunate enough to see some shooting stars and mereor shower previously when i havd been promptes by media to look. But this was brighter and larger than anything i have ever seen. Can you please advise me what i saw. Many thanks elaine
