Remarks I was in my front yard enjoying a cool morning for a change (I live in Central Texas!) on a bench. My front yard faces dead-nutts North, and this thing appeared about 5 degrees to the east, at about a 35-40 degree downward trejectory, and it appeared to be coming a little bit towards me because it grew slightly larger as it fell. At first it looked like an odd airplane going down at an extremely steep angle, then it became the \"fireball\" . My next thought was that this reminded me of C-130\'s dropping flares, but this \"flare\" wasn\'t just falling and had a rapid downward trajectory. It lasted a good 4 seconds, but felt like a whole minute. By the time I thought to grab my cell-phone camera it had become just an orange ember that seemed to extinguish just before reaching the horizon.

Remarks Glowed bright orange and seened to extend up into \"outer space\" with nop clear end at first. Once the fireball started to fizzle the train shrunk, then when the fireball became an orange ember a little more than half-way to the horizon the train became very faint or disappeared. I live in a rural area, on a hill, facing straight North. It was 5:37am and I had a VERY good look at this.
