It was a clear darkening sky (my time of 20.01 was a best guess as I was approx ten minutes away from home and a timepiece - my time should be accurate to 2-3 minutes either side of 20.01) and as it's an unadopted country lane it was very quiet and I heard nothing whilst the object passed

Remarks
It was made up of a long silver streak forward with trailing and combusting following immediately behind - the fiery tale was as long if not longer than the silver streak and the whole thing appeared much longer than any shooting star I have ever seen - the combustion appeared to die then the silver grew short and fatter at the front and I think there was a bit of hot red? Before it disappeared
