Reports Report 3178b (Event 3178-2017)

Observer
Name Rebecca H
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks It was a once and a life time experience . I've seen haileys comet and white shooting stars but until tonight I never knew what a fireball was . I thought this was a UFO and did research on blue shooting stars , they don't exist normally so I looked elsewhere , saw a picture of a blue fireball on google and it so closely resembled what I saw that I then knew for sure I had witnessed my first ever fire ball , and it was much larger then haileys comment or any shooting star ive seen it made my mouth drop .

Remarks I was walking facing forward twords the ground going home and , I wear glasses , so I can see in the distance , I saw TWO different flashes one , then another , it was pitch black but somehow !? I knew to look twords the right where then I saw for 5 to 10 seconds a light blue translucent fire ball that had two sparks that came off of the fire ball right before suddenly it disappeared as if it had one second been right outside earths orbit then the next into a black hole it just disappeared and less then a second later so did the two sparks / fragments that went with it .
