When I first saw the object it was just a glowing moving ball. Then it developed a triangular shaped train and then gradually faded away.

The train was triangular shape, long and pointed. It was initially just and orange glow and then as the train produced became orange/red. The train lasted for about 3-5 seconds before disappearing.
