Remarks On Friday 19 of August 2011 at 21:02 I was driving north on I-35 crossing from Kansas into Missouri. I noticed a bright white light with a long tail straight above it, in the North West central part of the sky falling slowly straight down. I thought wow what a treat! It was a very unusual meteor since I was able to watch it fall, at the very least for 90 seconds and the more it fell the brighter it became. When I reached near the I-35 and the I-70 East split it seemed to stop at the horizon and it quadrupled in size (at what I am estimating to be 150 feet from the ground) and it hovered for a second and then it started traveling from the North West toward the East that’s when I lost sight of it. When I reached Independence Avenue I made a left on Maple Blvd next to the BP Gas station, I looked up at the sky to my left and there were five more huge fireballs, these looked really close and were coming down to earth in a different manner than the one I saw previously. These fireballs were undulating from side to side and incredibly bright, at this point I started to panic a little and I thought for a second that we were being invaded by extra terrestrials. I got out of my car and viewed them until I could no longer see them. This was spectacular!
