Remarks | My first impression before looking up was that a helicopter was shining a spotlight on me from above. Nearby objects cast shadows which moved slightly. Perhaps a close burn of a meteor - a bit slower than most any I've seen but, gone after just a few seconds. The 'wide' trail was as bright or brighter than a full moon for a second. |

Remarks | A few moments after the visual, I heard a faint "click" coming from the same direction in the sky. Maybe 2 - 3 seconds after the light. |

Observation | Yes |
Duration | 3s |
Length | 10° |
Remarks | The object left a wide, bright trail about 8 to 10 degrees long. Width = slightly smaller than the nail of a pinky held at arms length. I use the term, "wide" because it was visibly more than the streak of a normal meteor and somewhat slower. |
